BMC is a full-service consulting firm capable of meeting the needs of both public and private schools for effectively dealing with problematic student behavior. At BMC we know that student behavior is largely the result of the classroom environment and we know how to improve that setting to motivate students to give their best performance.
Our Board Certified Behavior Analysts are trained to carry out functional
behavioral assessments that will tell us precisely the source of any
referred behavior, and we know how to work with educators to have our
empirically-based, teacher-tested interventions put in place quickly.
At BMC we know that the teacher’s number one job is academic instruction and we work every day to make sure they can concentrate on that mission; our job is to design motivating systems for teachers that prompt and reinforce appropriate student behavior and give them the classroom management tools necessary to deal effectively with discipline problems.
The core of this teacher consultation model involves clear classroom rules, individualized goal setting, and consistent recognition of appropriate behavior by the teacher.
BMC is a recognized leader in the development of behavioral systems for individual classrooms as well as school-wide applications; we are currently providing services to 10 school districts in Florida. References from teachers, principals and administrators are available on request.
